Thanks to Comenius and the Czech Socrates Agency our schools had the opportunity to meet and plan this linguistic project.

This is a project born in the “heart of Europe”, because it was in the Czech Republic where the two coordinators first met in one of the many contact seminars provided by the Socrates Agency to facilitate the creation of a coherent educational team.

Teachers from different countries joined to find common points and engage a European project.

During this seminar that took place in December 2002, Dana and Maite, teachers from both schools met and found many matching points in both schools expectations.

They began to work hard in the definition of the objectives and preparing a coherent project draft.

They soon smiled together protected by Comenius, the XVIIth century Moravian educational reformer, pioner of modern education, after whom these European projects are named.

Our hope is that, after this meeting provided by the Czech Socrates Agency,  we can bridge the distance between our two countries and commit our students in this project so that we can achieve the majority of our objectives.
