This eJournal is an on-line net magazine started in November 2002. The founders ,English and Swedish teachers (Pekka and Pia), went to a course at OPEKO in Tampere in order to start something new, a new way of practising writing and communication together with other schools and foreign pals. Our partners abroad live

in Osnabrueck in Germany and our mutual language is English. The three Comprehensive schools in guestion are Kaukajärvi school (Kaukajärven koulu)in Tampere, Koski school (Kosken seudun yläaste) in Koski and Gesamtschule Osnabrueck Schinkel in Osnabrueck, where the teachers in charge have been Margret and Katrin.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Welcome back to the journal as well. Let us see what happens this term; anything is possible so far. I hope that everyone had a nice and relaxing summer vacation inspite of the weather. I personally spent fabulous summer days in Norway and on the island of Gotland, Sweden. I hope to hear from Pekka, Margret and Katrin and read any stories or essays of our students. Have an awesome fall time and hopefully with some warm summerlike days and weekends.
