OUR LOGO
The seas have always played an important role and shaped the life and the development of land dwellers.. In this project the special information about the various seas and their meaning shall be worked out. In this context the “communication through surfing the Internet" will play a special role.
For the pupils the knowledge about the seas, the culture and the economy/tourism gives a broad picture. Through the cooperation of the 16 coastal countries and the associated partners the pupils have the possibility to acquire knowledge about their own geographical place in a wider context. This has a special relevance for the pupils’ further education.
The work for each project year will include research about the topic, processing data, experiencing and examining   the local/national conditions, making out relevant lesson artefacts like models, charts, exhibitions etc., and evaluation through comparing results with the partner schools, finding differences and similarities.

All pupils of the schools involved are included in the project from the very beginning by a pupil competition for the development of the project logo. The various results will also show the pupils’ various points of view. During the Comenius weeks the work will be introduced to the different schools, to achieve a high identification of the pupils with the project.
